I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Sciences. I then worked for the U.S Department of Energy where I aided in various research studies. Since, I have worked with children in a classroom setting for a total of six years now. I taught seventh grade Science, and high school Earth and Space. My heart exploded as I gained such a huge passion for teaching and working with children.
I was a Montessori teaching assistant for two years in the Lower Elementary classroom. I then started my Montessori training in the summer of 2020, through Seton Montessori Institute. Which has led me to the position of Directress of the Early Childhood classroom. Chesterton Montessori is now my second home. Here is where I have the opportunity to witness the magic of all my students' discoveries and growth throughout their years in my classroom.
I look forward to seeing your family start their journey at Chesterton Montessori, cheers!
